Normal Work Schedule: Willingness to work within a flexible teaching schedule (i.e. day, evening) and at varied sites (i.e. on-campus, off campus) and in distance learning formats.

Provides program leadership, planning & administration in managing the Patient Care Program. Includes operation & supervision of the Patient Care program, program development, continues review and general effectiveness of enrolled students. Responsible for maintaining & developing accreditations, coordination of scheduling classes, enrollment, instruction, student advising, student recruitment and retention, marketing, developing clinical sites, & maintaining appropriate records. Responsible for maintaining & developing experiential & clinical sites. Includes curriculum & instructional development, assessment functions to include student & program learning outcomes.
Minimum and Additional Requirements:
Faculty teaching associate degree courses not designed for transfer to the baccalaureate degree: bachelor's degree in the teaching discipline, or associate's degree and demonstrated competencies in teaching discipline, & have two (2) yrs. progressively responsible related work/teaching exp. Must hold current SC license registered nurse and unencumbered, active nurse license. Three (3) years' exp. in healthcare.
Prefer bachelor's degree, and exp. in skilled nursing facility, hospice, and/or an acute care facility.
Requires flexible work hours with possible evening hours. May require travel within the seven-county service area, transporting files/supplies; and travel, possibly over-night, to training, workshops and seminars; may require teaching using Distance Learning Techniques and the Internet. Requires keeping up with technology changes, & managing students. Some lifting is required.
