Job Type: FTE - Full-Time

Normal Work Schedule: Willingness to work within a flexible teaching schedule (i.e. day, evening) and at varied sites (i.e. on-campus, off campus) and in distance learning formats.

Job Responsibilities:
Teach college courses in English, participate in curriculum and instructional material development, assessment functions to include program learning outcomes and student learning outcomes, student advisement responsibilities, enrollment registration, student recruitment and retention activities, participate in college outreach activities, college committees, community service, and other assigned duties. Participate in departmental, division, and college planning sessions in actively reaching and communicating the college's mission and goals, and professional development activities. 

Minimum and Additional Requirements:
Faculty teaching associate degree courses designed for transfer to the baccalaureate degree: Master's degree with minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in ENG/ENG prefix courses. 

Preferred Qualification:
Teaching experience at the two-year college level is preferred.

Additional Comments:
Requires flexible work hours, must be available to teach day or night classes in any of the College's seven campuses or online. Must be willing to learn and to use the PEN system as a means of delivery; will be required to attend instructional training. May require occasional travel, possibly overnight, to attend training, workshops and/or seminars. Some lifting is required.
