Experience Requirement: Evidence of actual or potential success in online teaching is expected. Excellent written and oral communication skills in the English language are required. Must have a strong commitment to undergraduate education and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Usual Duties: Nine-month appointment with opportunity for summer employment available. Possible 3 year appointment to be renewed annually. This is a 100% teaching appointment. Primary teaching responsibilities will be within the field of Agriculture with emphasis in Sustainable Agriculture, Ag Communications, Agricultural Advocacy, Agritourism, Animal Products or other related coursework. Ability to teach primarily online with some traditional courses to be expected. The successful applicant will contribute to our growing undergraduate research program and competitive teams.

Degree Requirements: An earned doctorate in Agriculture, Animal Science, Agricultural Business, Agricultural Communications, Agricultural Education, Agricultural Leadership, Agricultural Engineering Technology, Plant and Soil Sciences or a closely related field. ABD candidates may be considered.

Other Requirements for the Position: Position will begin September 2018 or January 2019.
