Advertised Job Summary: The Director of Corporate Partner Engagement (DCPE) will engage with the corporate partners of academic institutions and develop programs that improve the opportunities for university students to interact, learn from and share experiences with these partners. The DCPE will report to the Chair of the Management Science Department (MGSC) but will primarily support the efforts of the Operations and Supply Chain Center along with the management of The Operations and Supply Chain Center and the Center for Applied Business Analytics. The Operations and Supply Chain Center currently has 16 corporate partners that work with MGSC faculty to each offer a capstone project experience for a team of students each semester. The DCPE will be responsible for actively managing outreach to the Center's corporate partners and other private and public organizations to develop internship opportunities for students, to attract firms to seek out Moore School students to fill operations and supply chain positions, and help communicate the value proposition of the Center and its programs to external constituencies. Two metrics used to help measure the success of this effort will be: expansion of the Center and improvement in the placement statistics of MGSC students. Thus, the DCPE is expected to work closely with the staff of the school's career center to assist in any efforts for improving student placement outcomes, participate in relevant initiatives and use appropriate OCM processes.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions): Master's degree in Student Services or related field and 8 years experience in student services program area.
