Instructional/Academic Staff position in the Department of Management and Marketing with the title at the rank of Associate Lecturer beginning August 27, 2018. This is an ongoing/renewable appointment.


  • Masters in Marketing, MBA or related field from a regionally accredited higher education institution is required.
  • 5 years of experience in the Marketing field required.
  • Salary will be commensurate with teaching and work experience.
  • Desired area of specialty is in Marketing with a more specialized interest in teaching courses such as promotions, sales, and principles of marketing.
  • The ability to enhance the diversity of the department and serve as a role model and mentor for women and/or minorities will be considered an asset.


We are looking for an individual who has a desire to teach in a growing Marketing program which specializes in the areas of marketing analytics, sales, and the integration of these two areas. Position would be working with both of our emphases areas. Teaching responsibilities would be in courses such as Principles of Marketing, Promotions, Retail Management, sales and other courses would be assigned as needed.

Applicants will be expected to teach courses as assigned in the Department of Management and Marketing, participate in class projects helping integration with the community, and maintain professional development.


The Department of Management and Marketing is a vibrant and cohesive group of teachers and scholars, dedicated to excellence in teaching and remaining current in their fields through scholarly activity. The department offers four majors: Management, Marketing, Business Administration, and Healthcare Administration. Emphases within the Marketing major include Sales and Marketing Analytics. The department serves over 1400 undergraduate majors, and helps supports the UW System Consortium online MBA program. The department is housed in UW – Eau Claire’s AACSB accredited College of Business.
