Degree and Area of Specialization:
MS or MA in Education or related field
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
-Minimum of five years K-12 teaching
-Experience in program development, transition from idea stage to implementation
-Experience with innovative literacy practices
-Excellent communication skills
-Ability to work as part of a dynamic, interactive team
-Initiative and creativity on the job
-Ability to create programs for a diverse audience
-Strong problem solving skills
-Ability to make independent judgments that are consistent, fair and unbiased
-Ability to be flexible and adaptable to change
-Ability to travel in state or out of state as required for project management, program development and/or delivery
