The purpose of the position is to enhance the rate at which we can obtain data on experimental systems of interest. This laboratory assistant will assist a postdoctoral researcher to conduct experiments, collect data and analyze data on particle formation. In addition, the assistant will have normal laboratory duties involved in maintaining laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
- Assist postdoctoral researcher on particle production using spray drying.
- Assist postdoctoral researcher on nanoparticle formation using rapid precipitation techniques.
- Characterize microparticle and nanoparticle size, API loading and release kinetics.
- Graphics and lab equipment maintenance
Preference for candidate who has experience in nanoparticle formation and characterization. Candidate should have a BSE degree in Chemical or Biological Engineering to be able to understand fundamental concepts applied in the research.
