Position Summary: The contract specialist position is responsible for completing contract forms and documents in support of the facilities organization; while working closely with procurement department personnel and vendors. A contract specialist creates, examines and monitors contractual agreements between the department and vendors. This position reports to the Manager of OUA Budgets and Capital Expenditures.

Responsibilities: - Compiles factual information and reports and communicates this information as requested; completes all contract documents for the department as requested and insures all necessary attachments are included. Reviews contracts(s) and evaluates project related exhibits/attachments upon return for completeness, accuracy and compliance; and obtains signatures from appropriate personnel.

Qualifications: Requires two years experience in contract administration with a facilities organization and considerable knowledge in maintenance and capital projects. Bachelor's degree with major course work in related curricula AND two years' experience in contract administration management or a related field of work, or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
