Student Development Coordinator

Reporting to the Associate Director of the Cross-Cultural Center (CCC), the Student Development Coordinator (SDC) assists in managing and maintaining the complex services, co-curricular programs, and overall operation intended to foster academic inquiry and discussion, and to provide personal, professional, and career development about UCI's multicultural communities. The SDC contributes to the program planning and coordination of academic and career development initiatives, social justice education, and faculty in-service programs. The SDC will also collaborate with various academic departments in establishing programs focused on developing cultural competency for student leaders and develop academic partnerships to highlight the various research and expertise of faculty who assist with integrating the CCC mission into the fabric of the institution. The SDC also directs the CCC REAL Talk team and program, and will serve as an instructor for one of the Identity Leadership Seminars. The SDC will also advise assigned student organizations on various academic and career specific programmatic needs, specifically ones that are collaborative with academic departments and other relevant campus centers.

Salary: Annual $44,982.00
Total Hours: 8-5, M-F
Career Position.
Some evening and weekend programming.
