Position Summary: The Unit Service Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and performing a broad range of clerical support functions in the nursing unit. Specific duties include performing reception functions. collecting and compiling patient data. assembling medical records. and assisting with patient admission/discharge. Performs routine patient care functions as needed and will perform other related duties as required.
Rate Minimum $18.18 Midpoint $20.37 Maximum $22.56
Required Qualifications: Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in EnglishBasic Life SupportMust be able to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidaysPrior work administrative/clerical experience, preferably in a medical setting
Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual skills in English and Spanish and/or VietnameseUnderstanding of medical terminology and Universal Precautions
