1. Experience providing Tier III level support for Windows 7 and 10
2. Experience with enterprise desktop management solutions (ex: SCCM, LANrev, JAMF, LANDESK, etc.)
3. Experience with Microsoft Active Directory OU structure, security roles, and object management
4. Experience with Windows Group Policy Management
5. Experience with scripting and task automation
6. Experience provisioning and utilizing virtual desktops
7. Experience collaborating with technical contacts on various projects and implementations
8. Must be a highly motivated, dependable self-starter that works well in a team environment
9. Must have effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
10. Must be willing to work additional or non-standard hours to complete projects and meet deadlines
Experience with managing technical resources in an academic setting or other learning environments
Experience providing Tier III level support for macOS 10.10 through 10.12
Experience with software package development, testing and deployment for PC's
Experience with software package development, testing and deployment for Mac's
Experience in support and management of Windows Server 2012 and higher
Experience with App-V or another enterprise level software virtualization solution
Experience with an enterprise level Mobile Device Management solution, primarily for iOS
Administration experience in Microsoft SCCM (or equivalent Windows desktop management system)
Administration experience in Ivanti LANrev (or equivalent Mac desktop management system)
Experience with developing and deploying highly customized Operating System images for Windows 10
Experience with developing and deploying highly customized Operating System images for macOS 10.12+
Experience with software license server setup and management (FlexLM, LMTools, Sentinel, etc.)
Administration experience with an enterprise level encryption solution
Experience managing print servers and print management solutions
Administration experience with Cherwell Service Management (or equivalent service management / ticketing system)
Familiar with ITIL Foundations and Change Management basics
The department of Technology Resources - Client Services seeks a highly qualified technical professional to assist with the day-to-day management of University owned computing devices. Primary duties include; the successful development, delivery and maintenance of both Apple and Microsoft Operating System images, task sequences and profiles, the creation, customization, delivery and maintenance of software packages, mobile device management, configuration of Group Policies, administration of print servers, license managers, encryption servers, service delivery and desktop management tools, patch-management, and consulting with faculty, staff and the university technical community on best practices and advanced technical issues.
Desktop management of University computing equipment
Administration and support of campus encryption solution
Software package development and delivery for Apple and Windows devices
Apple and Microsoft Operating System image/build development, deployment and maintenance
Print server management and maintenance
License server management and maintenance
Advanced troubleshooting of systems and network problems
Administration and support of service delivery systems and applications
Provide advanced technical support and consultation to a very diverse user base
Work with vendors and outside technical contacts to implement reliable solutions for a variety of technical issues
Must be capable of multi-tasking and be willing to quickly and efficiently embrace change
Perform other duties as assigned
