Summary of Duties:
In collaboration with the Assistant Vice President, Innovation & Research Engagement Office (IREO), the Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing economic development and industry research partnership strategy for Washington State University (WSU). This position is also responsible for brokering relationships between industry, non-profit, and other local, regional, and international organizations and WSU faculty and staff to raise the profile of WSU's research in key areas. This position will develop, implement and execute on programs that inform departments and faculty on best practices for working with industry and building connectivity to industry. The Coordinator manages the day-to-day operations of the office to fulfill the mission, and has delegated authority to speak and make decisions on behalf of the Assistant Vice President, IREO.

Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to area of specialization and three (3) years of experience directly related to the specialty area. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
