This includes processing (paper and online) readmit applications, verifying prior college enrollment, and determining outstanding requirements for readmission.
This position will also be responsible for maintaining electronic files for all readmit applicants within the Banner Document Management System (BDM). Assist with the collection and processing of residency petitions. Manage student workers. Maintain updated records for all current transient students. General administrative/clerical tasks including greeting and assisting walk-in students, answering phone calls, and sending/receiving emails. Assist in developing and maintaining current internal policies and procedures. Training and Experience: [MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS] Associate's degree and 1-3 years of experience working with student or customer records with demonstrated ability to effectively maintain and analyze detailed records. Familiarity with computer technology and software programs, especially database experience. Ability to function independently while operating effectively within a team environment. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, customer service, and communication skills. Demonstrated cultural competency and the ability to support a diverse workplace and educational environment.
[PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS] In addition to the minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree and 2 years of direct experience working in a records office or higher education; demonstrated knowledge of Banner and Argos reporting software. Strong computer knowledge with the ability to navigate through Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities. Testing Requirements: Illustrative Examples of Work: -Evaluate each readmit application for readmission. Take proactive steps to ensure that readmit applications are processed efficiently and expeditiously. Update test scores for readmitted students.
-Scan and index documents into BDM on a daily basis with 100% accuracy.
