Data Warehouse and Reporting Developer

Job description

The Data Warehouse and Reporting Developer is responsible for the design and development of Data Warehouse solutions. This role designs and develops ETL procedures in PL/SQL to acquire, harmonize, and consolidate KSU data assets. This position will also provide functional and technical leadership and expertise in the gathering and analysis of data for use in development of functional requirements and data specifications for information resources required for decision support. The Data Warehouse and Reporting Developer is also repsonsible for developing ad-hoc reports in various BI tools (SAS, Argos, etc.)

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and five years related experience; or a combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications: This job requires advanced knowledge and skill in the application of data management programming languages and systems and technical expertise in development and maintenance of databases/data marts/data warehouses. Skills in technical leadership, communication (both technical and non-technical), problem solving and analysis are also required. Ellucian Banner experience highly desirable. Experience with SAS and Oracle DB in a data warehousing environment a plus.
