Position Status: Full-Time

Position Summary:
Student Technology Fee. The Customer Relationship Analyst provides desktop computer support for hardware, software, peripherals and services across the Windows and Macintosh operating systems, including but not limited to: installation, configuration, troubleshooting, consultation, and training to students, faculty, and staff throughout the University.

Essential Functions

  • Comfortable working with power tools, latter's, lifts, and other similar equipment that requires coordination and balance.
  • Works with departments and IT Services' units to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effective technology solutions.
  • Performs installations, configurations, troubleshoots, consultations and trainings for desktop support.
  • Provides first line support of audio/visual equipment.
  • Supervises and trains assigned student technicians.
  • Documents, tracks, assigns and escalates tickets assigned to customer base.
  • Performs administrative tasks such as equipment inventory; ongoing maintenance of inventory, performs routine and ongoing hardware and software maintenance.
  • Learns new technologies and communicates solutions to customers when needed.
  • Provides direction to student technicians regarding work assignments, training, etc.

    Bachelor’s Degree; possess CompTIA A+ Certification and Network+ Certification within 180 days of employment

    Three or more years of related work experience

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
    Effective communication (verbal and written), organization and human relations skills; ability to work well in a diverse environment; proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office Applications software including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; legally authorized to work in the United States; successful completion of background investigation prior to employment.

    Preferred Education:

    Preferred Experience::
    Crestron, Extron, CTS certification; some installation and fabrication experience, experience running, terminating, troubleshooting cable, wiring, connectors, and video conferencing.

    Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
