Associate Director of Residential Education - Campus Life

Job description

The Associate Director is a full-time student affairs professionals who is responsible for the overall management and supervision of Housing and Residential Education's approximately residential 2,800 students. Direct supervision includes 5 full-time Resident Directors and indirect supervision includes 7 Graduate Students and 89 Resident Assistants. These numbers may change with the department's needs. The Associate Director reports to the Director of Residential Education and serves on a team of professional staff that includes two Assistant Directors of Housing, the Director of Housing, the Director of Residential Education and the Executive Director of Housing and Residential Education.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education, or related field
  • 4 years of post-Masters professional experience in the higher education setting, with direct experience in residential education, specifically supervision training, crisis response and program management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of post-Masters professional experience in the higher education setting, with direct experience in residential education, specifically supervision training, crisis response and program management.
