Brief Summary of Work for this Position:

The Business Analytics, Information Systems and Supply Chain Department at University of North Carolina Wilmington, Cameron School of Business, invites applications for a non-tenure-track position in Information Systems to begin January 2019 or August 2019.

Minimum Requirements:

Candidates should have a Ph.D. or a Masters Degree in Information Systems or a related area. Candidates who have already obtained their Ph.D. are preferred but ABD’s will be considered. Candidates should be proficient in face to face teaching for undergraduate students.

Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be able to teach in at least three areas of information systems including introduction to information systems, database, data management, visualization, virtualization, system analysis and design, software development, operating systems, information security, telecommunications, and networking principles.

Candidates should also have the ability to participate in other engagement activities, such as conferences held on campus, service learning opportunities, student advising and technology management.

Primary Function of Organizational Unit:

The Business Analytics, Information Systems and Supply Chain department supports the Bachelor of Science with concentrations in Business Analytics, Information Systems and Supply Chain Management. At the graduate level, the department supports the Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Computer Science and Information Systems and upcoming M.S. Business Analytics.
