Job Summary:

Under the general supervision of the Plumbing Shop Supervisor for the UW-Madison, Facilities Planning and Management Physical Plant Plumbing shop, the Plumber-Journey position duties include, but are not limited to: maintenance, repair, installation and alteration of water lines, sewers, water heaters and softeners, toilet fixtures, laboratory equipment, etc., in buildings on the UW Madison Campus.

Schedule Comment:

7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 30 minute lunch.
Occasional nights, weekends and holidays.

Starting pay is $39.95 to $41.24 per hour depending on leave time selected.

To be minimally qualified you must have a current and valid State of Wisconsin Journeyman or Master Plumber License, and have the requirements for Journey Level Recognition.

2. Size and type of projects you have worked on.
3. Different types of plumbing materials you have worked with. (ie. Pipe/systems)
