Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Department of Chemistry seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor Pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2017, Spring 2018, and Summer 2018 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.
The anticipated need may include but is not limited to:
Non-Majors Freshman Chemistry Lecture -
CHEM 1360 at the main campus in Denton and the campus in Frisco (night classes may be required).

The successful candidate will possess the following minimum requirements:
MS degree in Chemistry and two years of experience in teaching freshman chemistry lecture classes.
Ph.D. in Chemistry desired with prior teaching experience in freshman chemistry lecture classes.
Area of Specialty:
Inorganic, Physical, or Analytical Chemistry
