Job Summary/Basic Function:
The University of North Texas seeks a Senior Lecturer in Russian in Denton. 40 hrs/wk. Duties: Teach undergraduate courses in Russian language, literature and culture. Prepare teaching, assessment, and exam materials. Grade assignments, tests and examinations. Coordinate the Russian program including preparing syllabi and schedules for all Russian courses, coordinating all sections of Russian courses, and mentoring Russian adjunct faculty, teaching assistant(s) and tutor(s). Prepare new Russian course curriculum. Provide service to the department and support student organizations.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Russian Studies, Russian Language, Literature or Culture, or related field. Native or near-native fluency in Russian and English languages. Ability to conduct high-quality undergraduate teaching in the Russian language.
