Office of Information Technology - Innovation Co-Lab Marketing & Communications Intern 20 hours per week. Student will work in downtown Durham at American Tobacco Campusand at the Innovation Co-Lab on Duke's West Campus. The intern will engage in strategic marketing and communications, and student outreach, as well as provide input on technical projects where necessary. She or he will work closely with the Innovation Co-Lab Developer & Educator to engage faculty, staff, and students at the University about how to use the Co-Lab's resources to build technical skills and meet the needs of the Duke community. The majority of the intern's responsibilities will be focused on the following tasks: • Generate ideas about how to enhance communication efforts and engagement with target audiences. • Contributeand support communication and branding activities for the Innovation Co- Lab. • Create Marketing Materials. • Assist with planning and execution of Co-Lab Studio Nights. • Support the Co- Lab's educational program. • Provide input on technical projects, where necessary. Students with experience and/or interest in marketing and communications with very strong written and verbal communication skills are encouraged to apply. Interest and/or experience in tech/coding is a plus.
