Responsibilities

Each successful applicant will be expected to teach Land Use and Real Estate Development, pursue research, and secure external funding.

Qualifications

Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service. Normally will have produced creative work, professional writing or research in refereed and other professional journals, and be a recognized authority in the field of specialization. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Professor.

We encourage applications from candidates who can incorporate topics such as development finance, project permitting, and fiscal impact analysis into our planning curriculum. Understanding of the Florida land development context would be welcome, though similar experience elsewhere would also be useful
