Chemeketa Community College welcomes applications for a full-time Anesthesia Technology Instructor.

Position Summary

Position reports directly to the Dean of Health Sciences, the instructor must be able to teach Anesthesia Technology program and work closely with industry and the program's Advisory Committee. Other professional responsibilities include: curriculum development, activities related to state and national accreditation, maintaining office hours at times convenient to students, serving as an ad-hoc member of the program's Advisory Committee, serving on departmental and college committees, participating in professional development activities, and other related duties as may be assigned by the Dean of Health Sciences.

Terms of Employment:

  • This is a 100 percent, 176-day academic position. Recently hired faculty are expected to participate in a new faculty orientation program
  • Requires the provision of official transcripts upon hire
  • Upon hire, must pass security inquiry which may include criminal and/or driving history; only information relevant to the position will be considered
  • Requires flexible work schedule to meet program needs, which may include evenings and/or weekends
  • Requires documentation of current immunizations and health requirements within six (6) months of hire
  • Requires a current healthcare provider CPR certification or the ability to acquire within 90 days of hire

$51,539.00 - $82,049.00 Annually


Associate degree in Anesthesia Technology or related field
ASATT Anesthesia Technologies Certification (must be attached to application)
Five years of full-time experience as an Anesthesia Technologist
