The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of General Pediatrics in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. Applicants must have an M.D. or Ph.D or equivalent degree.

We seek candidates with strong scholarly credentials and the ability to secure external research funding. The successful candidate will join the highly collaborative and productive Division of General Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. The faculty member will work closely with research teams at The Center for Pediatric Clinical Effectiveness ( and PolicyLab ( at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Preferred qualifications include expertise in epidemiology, health services research, public health or related field. Priority will be given to candidates pursuing research relevant to and with an interest in primary care innovation. Experience in interdisciplinary, community-engaged and/or practice-based research is strongly encouraged. Strong teaching and/or mentoring skills are required. Clinical role may involve direct clinical care and/or, if relevant, activities in support of care delivery.
