JOB SUMMARY:

Supports the daily operations of a comprehensive tutor program, consistent with College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) standards. Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:

55% - Essential - Tutor and Mentor Program Management:
Conducts the daily operations and management of a comprehensive tutor program, consistent with CRLA standards. Schedules tutoring appointments through GradesFirst. Assists with tutoring assessment and reporting. Monitors daily tutor visit notes. Compiles data and completes university's annual assessment report and other reports as needed.

30% - Essential - Personnel Management:
Recruits and conducts the hiring process for new tutoring staff. Assists with training development and delivery for tutoring staff. Ensures related training materials are current. Ensures accurate payroll. Produces daily and weekly reports. Assists with tutor evaluations and meetings. Other duties as assigned.

15% - Essential - Athletic Academic Staff Support:
Provides services to Athletic Academic staff in key areas. Monitors the building during the day. Manages the building during assigned evening and weekend hours. Conducts tutoring observations. Supports the highest ideals of academic integrity with all students and institutional personnel. Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor's degree and experience in student services programs.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages Work of Others - Manages work of others including hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff. Plans organizational structure and job content.

BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitors Budget - Does not provide input but is responsible for monitoring the departmental budget and may oversee fund allocation.
WORKING CONDITIONS:

50% - Overnight Travel
