Duties: Under limited supervision the coordinator is responsible for completing all required program details, and for providing the highest level of service to faculty and participants to support a portfolio of Wharton Executive Education open enrollment and custom programs. This position is responsible for coordination of all program materials, classroom set up, and program websites using key operating systems. The coordinator will respond to participant questions in advance of programs, welcome groups at registration, give announcements of essential information at the start of program and communicate critical information throughout the week. The coordinator will promptly and appropriately respond to all client and faculty requests. The coordinator will work with program managers and program directors during the planning process and will work with the highest level of professionalism in an independent, self-directed manner. Coordinator will complete tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures to ensure a seamless, high quality program delivery.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 2 years to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Experience preferably coordinating training programs or special events in a corporate or university environment.
*Ability to work autonomously and in a team-based environment.
*Experience with public speaking a plus.
*Proficiency with Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and ability to easily adapt to new systems.
*Effective project management skills for management of ongoing multiple priorities.
*Ability to maintain composure, effectiveness, and a pleasant demeanor under pressure.
*Effective oral and written communications skills, to listen actively and explain information clearly.
*Ability to travel to national and international locations, as assigned.
*Ability to work across time zones to include early mornings/late evenings/weekends as needed and serve as essential staff in emergencies.
