Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Department of Biological Sciences seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor Pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2017, Spring 2018, and Summer 2018 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.
The anticipated need may include but is not limited to:
BIOL 1112, Contemporary Biology; BIOL 1132, Environmental Science; BIOL 1710, Biology for Science Majors I; BIOL 1720, Biology for Science Majors II; BIOL 2301, Human Anatomy & Physiology I; BIOL 2302, Human Anatomy & Physiology II; Upper-division courses vary.

Master's degree with 18 advanced hours in an area of the biological sciences relevant to the course assignment. College teaching experience is required.
Ph.D. in an area of Biological Sciences.
Three years of college teaching experience.
