The Department of Neurology at the University of Missouri-Columbia is seeking a neurologist with expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of tumors of the nervous system. Successful applicants should demonstrate excellence in clinical care, teaching and institutional service.
The Department of Neurology has close to 20 adult neurology faculty plus a nurse practitioner. Subspecialties cover neuromuscular, sleep medicine, stroke, epilepsy, movement disorders, dementia, multiple sclerosis, Neuro-ICU and general neurology. The Department is in the process of recruiting more faculty members in both clinical and basic science research over the near term.
The Neurosciences center with more than 20 physician specialists features the largest medical and surgical neurological care team in mid-Missouri. In addition to clinical opportunities for the candidate, Institute for Clinical and Translational Science at MU offers a wide range of academic opportunities.
Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
