Enrollment Coordinator

Location: Baker College of Online Campus
Compensation: Salary based on education, experience, and existing wage rates paid for similar positions within Baker College Professional Services, Inc. Full benefit package.
Start Date: July 2, 2018

Reports To: Vice President of Enrollment
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week/52 weeks per year. Flexible schedule which may include evenings or alternative week schedule

Baker College Professional Services, Inc. seeks to hire an individual to be assigned to the position of Enrollment Coordinator for the benefit of and to be located at Baker College of Online Campus.

General Statement of Duties:

Support the Baker College Enrollment Management team in an ethical, dynamic team atmosphere that successfully recruits new students and builds the student base of the college.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university preferred in any area; Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required
  • Prior admissions or sales experience required
  • Mastering our communications systems (multi-line phone, Google products, and Internet databases) required
  • Demonstrated knowledge in all Microsoft products, including Excel and Database required
  • Jenzabar or related Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience required
  • Must possess these skills: Excellent people skills/personality; Team player; Decision maker; Outgoing nature; Positive and flexible personality; Possess excellent work ethic; Excellent listening skills
  • Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to lift and maneuver independently up to 25 lbs.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Work in a peer environment and support training for enrollment specialist, outreach coordinators, and administrative assistants.
  • Demonstrate a strong belief in product.
  • Become expert in the Baker College brand and in the ability to teach it.
  • Practice effective decision-making.
  • Become very organized and a good time manager.
  • Develop the ability to prioritize and handle multiple demands.
  • Work as part of the enrollment management team to successfully recruit new students that have the ability to persist at in achieving a degree.
  • Effectively train and work with peer groups of employees on all recruitment policy and practice.
  • Acts as constant role model.
  • Demonstrates vision in operating our business.
  • Identify and develop future leaders for Baker College
  • Maintain knowledge of enrollment funnel and processes through the virtual enrollment center and the Baker Contact Center (Call Center).
  • Other duties as assigned
