Location: Baker College Professional Services, Inc. (Virtual Position)
Compensation: Salary based on education, experience, and existing wage rates paid for similar positions within Baker College Professional Services, Inc. Full benefit package.
Start Date: July 2, 2018

Reports To: Contact Center Manager
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week/52 weeks per year, some evening and weekend hours may be required.

Baker College Professional Services, Inc. seeks to hire an individual to be assigned to the position of CONTACT CENTER AGENT (FULL-TIME) for the benefit of and to be located at Baker of Baker College Professional Services, Inc. (Virtual Position).

General Statement of Duties:

The Contact Center Agent is responsible for handling inbound and outbound interactions with potential and current students pertaining to admissions/enrollment efforts for the college.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
  • Associates degree in any discipline or work experience in a similar environment
  • Experience in a call center environment preferred or experience in sales, retail, or customer service
  • Exposure to auto-dialing environment required
  • Must be able to work remotely in home office with access to high-speed internet and own a windows bases personal computer adequately meeting minimum technology requirements determined by the college
  • Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to lift and maneuver independently up to 25 lbs.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Using a computerized system, responds to customer inquiries in a contact center environment using standard scripts and procedures
  • Determines eligibility by comparing student information to requirements; informs students by explaining procedures, answering questions, and providing information
  • Understand, communicate, and adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Maintains and improves quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned
