Degree and Area of Specialization:
Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or science-related field is required.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
At least one year of experience in the medical, science, or research environment, or pertinent course work is preferred. Experience in cell culture, molecular biology and work with mice is preferred.
Title and pay rate will be determined at the time of hire based on candidate qualifications and experience. A minimum of 7 years of experience is required for appointment at the senior level.
License or certificate:
The position involves research on host-fungal pathogen interactions in a murine model of infection involving mice, with some translation to work in human patients. A portion of effort will also involve lab management responsibilities. The candidate will work with an established laboratory team and PI in a biomedical research program that has been federally funded for several decades.
