Job description

Duties: The Part Time Research Coordinator will support research activities for a multi-state initiative to develop innovative reporting strategies for state early childhood data systems.

* She/he will participate in activities, including data analysis; report writing; and collaboration with a range of project consultants across multiple sites.

*She/he will be responsible for developing and maintaining a research plan. Other central responsibilities include overseeing IRB approval processes at the multiple sites, monitoring progress and timelines for research activities, preparing reports and presenting findings for state and government policy makers, and addressing problems in the research activities as they arise.

*She/he will be responsible for submitting regular progress reports to the PI. No travel required. Position is Contingent Upon Continued Funding.

Qualifications: A Master's Degree, in education, public policy or related field and at least 1 year of experience conducting research studies, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Preference will be given for experience in the development and use coordinated data systems; as well as for professional experience with early childhood policy and practice.
