Position Summary: The Graduate Leadership Fellow position offers a unique opportunity for an emerging leader in the field of arts administration to gain valuable leadership experience as a thought partner and strategic advisor to the Special Assistant to the Chancellor for the Arts (SACA) in his work overseeing Carolina Performing Arts and Arts Everywhere at UNC-Chapel Hill. This fellowship aims to provide valuable real-world experience for individuals seeking careers as executive arts leaders in an increasingly complex and ambiguous world. The program combines intensive on-the-job experience, personalized coaching and mentoring and access to an extensive global network of relationships. Programs and projects will be inclusive of the work of Carolina Performing Arts and Arts Everywhere. The initial fellowship term will be one year with opportunities for renewal at the end of each year for a total of three years. A successful fellow will be a dynamic, engaged and driven individual who possesses a high degree of intellectual curiosity and service-oriented humility; an entrepreneur in the global public interest with a profound sense of purpose regardless of the scale and scope of the challenge. The successful candidate will foster his/her strengths and address areas of development. S/he will prepare for leadership in both public and private sectors, and work across all spheres of the arts in global society.

Education Requirements: The successful candidate will have recently received a master's degree in business administration with demonstrated personal experience or history in the arts or arts-related field, or a master's degree in an arts-related field with a minimum of two years of work experience.
