The Government Department at the University of Texas at Austin is hoping to hire two distinguished methodologists (including statistical methodologists and formal theorists) at the rank of full Professor to begin in Fall 2018. The search is open to scholars working in any specialty within the field of political science research methods and formal theory, broadly defined.
Duties will include both undergraduate and graduate teaching, research, and service to the Department, College of Liberal Arts, and the University. Salary is highly competitive and commensurate with rank, experience, and qualifications.
The successful candidates will have a highly distinguished scholarly record of publication, a record of teaching excellence, and demonstrated excellence in intellectual and institutional leadership. Applicants must have a PhD in hand at the time of appointment.
