Classification Title: Videographer
Division: University Advancement
Department: University Communications and Marketing

Nature of Work    
Create professional-level video and photography that reflects and supports the overall brand strategy of UWG, as well as supporting the printed and electronic communications and marketing materials created by UCM. Areas of coverage will include, but are not limited to, academics, research, student life, athletics, music and theatre, and community involvement.
Work closely with the Director of Photography and Video to determine projects, create scripts and storyboards, attend meetings and perform other duties as assigned – some of which will occur during evenings and weekends.

Required Qualifications    
Technical or Associates degree and two or more years of related experience – or Bachelors degree and one year of related experience. Proven expertise in non-linear-editing software such as Final Cut Pro X and Adobe Premiere is required, as well as Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom.

Preferred Qualifications    
This experience should include proven expertise in photography and video production; camcorder and DSLR camera controls; lighting techniques for video and photography; and audio capture for video and audio editing.

Salary    $17.14 minimum - $22.38 midpoint

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions    
Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.
