Provides high-level coordination and support management to the Offices of Admission Enrollment Marketing & Communication, International, Transfer & Transitional Enrollment, and Enrollment Operations and the Assistant Vice President for Strategic Enrollment Management and Marketing (AVPSEMM). Position ensures efficient and integrated coordination of key operational functions, day-to-day management of the offices, and project management oversight for large-scale projects within offices reporting to the AVPSEMM. Position serves on the AVP’s leadership team and reports directly to the AVPSEMM.
Takes initiative and uses problem-solving skills to proactively resolve issues for internal staff or external stakeholders without executive involvement, and provides excellent service to all internal and external customers, ensures problems are resolved in an efficient and effective manner, and meets expectations in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment; uses investigation, professional judgment, and individual discretion to follow through on issues until resolved, providing necessary correspondence and contact with prospective students, parents, counselors, faculty, administration, staff, or third parties and acts as a representative of the offices within Strategic Enrollment Management & Marketing (SEMM) to students, faculty, staff, and the public concerning issues requiring interpretation of policies, procedures, and programs related to but not limited to enrollment management functional areas.
Provides leadership to staff in the reporting offices regarding schedules, procedures, and policies, and is responsible for ensuring adherence and compliance to office and University protocol for the 50+ employees within the unit; provides oversight and management of the unit’s adherence to local, state, and federal authorizations and university and other external contracts for a staff whose employees are located eight states within the US and three countries
Associate’s degree and 3 to 5 years of administrative experience within a complex and deadline-driven environment, preferably in a university setting;
Ability to work independently and set priorities; possess a sense of urgency for completion of complex projects and ability to manage critical deadlines; use of tact and maturity when dealing with internal and external customers, as well as confidential matters;
Ability to organize work effectively, conceptualize, and prioritize objectives and exercise independent judgment based on an understanding of organizational policies and activities
