Job Description

The Biology Program seeks adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate courses in General Biology I and II, and General Biology II Laboratory.

Necessary Qualifications:
  • An earned Master's degree in Biology from a regionally accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 18 graduate hours in Biology.
  • Experience and interest in teaching undergraduates in a culturally diverse, first generation college/university population.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working towards or has earned Ph.D. in Biology, from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Broad training in biology.
  • Research experience and a good understanding of experimental design, lab report writing, and the scientific method.
  • Experience teaching a range of undergraduate courses in biology.
  • Experience with a non-traditional commuter-university setting.
  • Experience with a culturally diverse student body.
