The Department of Cell and Developmental Biology is seeking a full-time, term-limited (12 week) position in the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology, University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. The position will assist in Human Body Block, the medical gross anatomy course for Phase I of School of Medicine, during Fall 2018. The anticipated start date is July 30th 2018, and the position will end on October 19th 2018.
The successful applicant will work as a core member of the teaching team for Human Body Block during Fall 2018. Specific responsibilities include teaching all cadaver dissection and prosection laboratories sessions, organizing and facilitating scheduled review sessions, tutoring MSTP students in the laboratory, assisting with all Block exams (setup, delivery, proctoring, and grading), participating in and overseeing prosections, and other Block-related duties as assigned. The position will report directly to the Human Body Block co-directors.
Salary and Benefits:
The hiring salary for this position is commensurate with skills and experience. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.

- Master's Degree in Anatomy or a directly related field
- PhD, MD, or DO
- Previous experience teaching in a cadaver dissection-based anatomy course.
- Preference will be given to applicants with experience teaching all regions (back, extremities, trunk, head and neck) of human anatomy at the medical school level.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Demonstrated knowledge of human anatomy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
