Position Summary: The School of Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has an opening for a mid-career MD, PhD, or MD/PhD academic investigator for a tenure-track appointment in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. This individual will join an active scientific research group in hemostasis and thrombosis.

Education Requirements: MD, PhD, or MD/PhD

Qualification and Experience: The successful applicant will have a successful, extramurally funded research program focused on basic and translational research on mechanisms in hemostasis and thrombosis, cancer biology, and inflammatory disease; and have extensive, published experience in animal models of disease. The successful candidate will be expected to accomplish impactful research, acquire sustained extramural funding, and teach a variety of learners, including PhD graduate students, postdoctoral research fellows, and others.
