SENIOR SALES PROFESSIONAL

Job description

Position Summary: This position is charged with generating and responding to business from within assigned markets by actively selling the facilities and services of the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education & Hotel (the Georgia Center). Success is measured by reaching both individual and team sales-related goals and successfully working with others at the Georgia Center to provide our customers exemplary service. Sr. Sales Professionals will assist, as requested, with the training and mentoring of new team members.

Responsibilities: Actively develop and thereafter maintain relationships with individuals in assigned markets, through identification, prospecting, phone calls, visits, and other types of contacts, thereby identifying new business opportunities for the Georgia Center. Develop and implement a market-focused prospecting and awareness campaign for assigned market. Coordinate and conduct site inspections and meet with potential and returning clients. Greet clients while on-site (Event Coordinators serve as their primary on-site contact). Communicate post-event with the client to ascertain future needs.
