Job description

Duties: To coordinate the development of the Center's Policy Initiatives, which will target national policy implementation evaluations, and provide support and collect data for a complex set of initiatives that aim to integrate behavioral health services in primary care and medical specialty services in the University of Pennsylvania Health System. For Project 1, the research coordinator will provide project management support to studies examining systems change in response to national policies. The individual will provide technical support for policy initiative marketing activities such as survey implementation and review of national policy related materials and initiatives. The research coordinator will also prepare reports regularly and compose updates and summaries of results for external partners. For Project 2, the candidate is needed to provide support with research activities including quantitative and qualitative data collection, data entry, database management, assisting with IRB documentation and submissions, participant recruitment, and consenting of participants. The candidate will facilitate and maintain positive relationships with partners and collaborators and will regularly attend meetings with external stakeholders and internal staff. Additionally, the position requires data collection, management of study materials and supervision of project interns and undergraduate students. The research coordinator will assist the PIs and senior research coordinator with technical writing for publication and funding opportunities as well as other duties as assigned. Under the supervision of key faculty, the candidate will coordinate a team of faculty and senior staff to redesign the Center's website layout and content to emphasize the Center's research and policy initiatives as well as improve the website's use as a marketing, educational and training tool. The position will be responsible for maintaining the website's content accuracy and relevance. Travel will be required.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required. Previous research experience is preferred. The candidate should be proficient in computer programs including MS Office and maintaining databases. Previous website management experience necessary. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary. He/She should be comfortable doing a variety of tasks, be able to balance multiple commitments, and be comfortable communicating to diverse audiences. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to
work independently and with a team. Valid driver's license required. Must pass Pennsylvania's Child Protective Services Act (also known as Act 73) background checks, within 30-90 days of employment. Position contingent upon funding
