Job description

Duties: Reporting to the Associate Director, Staff and Labor Relations, in coordination with the Director of HR for the Division of Business Services, the HR Administrator B will assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of an effective, comprehensive staff relations program in compliance with all University policies and procedures and federal, state and local laws and regulations. The position counsels staff and managers on a wide range of staff and work-related issues and provides guidance on the interpretation and application of University policies and procedures and federal, state, and local laws. The HR administrator B advises management on restructuring/reorganization efforts and assists managers in enhancing management practices. The position implements all staff relations programs, including but not limited to effective performance management programs, staff grievance procedure, and workplace issue resolution programs. Lead special projects and programs. The HR Admin B will spend 70% of their time working in the Division of Human Resources Staff and Labor Relations Department and 30% of their time in the Division of Business Services (DBS).

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
