Duties: Responsible for managing and implementing the community-engaged portfolio for CPHI and the MPH Program, and providing programmatic support to the CPHI Deputy Director for CPHI and the Associate Director of the MPH program. Primary function is to lead new and existing public health initiatives on and off Penn's campus, as well as helping elevate initiatives from our community partners and Master of Public Health (MPH) students.

Qualifications: The minimum of a Master's degree and 1 to 2 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, required. MPH or similar degree strongly preferred. Excellent attention to detail and ability to utilize email, Internet, Microsoft Office and other community applications in a highly-skilled, organized, efficient and accurate manager. The position requires superior written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, the capacity to handle and prioritize multiple tasks, and good judgment. The ideal candidate will possess public health knowledge or public policy or health communications; and/or have an interest and dedication to the field. Excellent interpersonal skills are also important. For candidates who meet all of the above requirements, knowledge of the Penn environment is a plus.
