Position Summary: The Mayer-Davis research group requires a Project Manager to handle the day-to-day operations of several ongoing research projects. The primary project in need of oversite is the UNC Nutrition Obesity Research Center (NORC; an NIH-funded P30 grant). It currently has a Project Manager in Kannapolis but there is a sufficient volume of work here at Chapel Hill to warrant an additional on-site manager. NORC Project Managing will assist with the day-to-day administration of the UNC Chapel Hill aspects of the NORC and they will report to Beth Mayer-Davis, PhD. The two other projects that will receive oversite from this position include FL3X: An Adaptive Intervention to Improve Outcomes for Youth with Type 1 Diabetes (total award amount $6,949,173) and SEARCH for Diabetes in Youth, Phase 3: Cohort Study - Carolina Center (total award amount $2,156,417).

Education Requirements: Master's Degree in relevant field; for candidates demonstrating comparable independent research/project management, will accept a relevant undergraduate degree with 3 or more years of relevant experience.

Qualification and Experience: Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Strong organization skills are required. Prior experience with pre- and post-award federal grant management preferred. Experience with front-end web development preferred.
