Advertised Job Summary: This position will serve as Helpdesk and Desktop support for faculty and staff by providing tier one and tier two levels of support for physical desktops, virtual desktops, and classroom/lab computers. Experience in office automation systems, data communications system design, installation, operation, repair, or processing of information in a data processing environment. PC platforms running current Microsoft software including Windows XP, VISTA and also SUSE LINUX.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions): Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Systems or related field and 1 year experience or high school diploma and 5 years related work experience. Experience in office automation systems, data communications system design, installation, operation, repair, or processing of information in a data processing environment.
