Minimum Education/Experience: Requires an earned doctorate in elementary education, curriculum and instruction or related field, eligibility for NC teaching licensure, and three years of teaching experience. Candidates with Ph.D. or Ed.D. conferred at the time of initial appointment will hold the probationary rank of Assistant Professor. ABD candidates will also be initially appointed with the probationary term rank of Assistant Professor and must have the terminal degree conferred prior to your first reappointment.

Job Duties: Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses including on-line instruction that may include courses in the English/Language Arts and/or social studies; graduate courses in Elementary Education; supervise interns; engage in research, grant development and appropriate professional services to the department, college, university, and public schools.
