Position Summary: The Govermental Training, Education, and Development (GTED) Division offers customized instruction to elected and appointed officials, managers, board, and authorities--on the university campus, throughout the state of Georgia, regionally, nationally, and internationally through some 615 continuing education opportunities offered by the Institute of Government. This position provides management of professional, fiscal, and administrative work in planning, organizing, leading and controlling the fiscal, instructional, human resource and logistical activities as well as projecting financial needs and overseeing annual budget development of the GTED Division which is currently comprised of 16 faculty, 19 staff, and 8 students.

Responsibilities: Plans, organizes, and directs financial, accounting, budgeting, purchasing, and audit functions. Provides overall management and administration of division, including planning and supervising operations. Supervises the Senior Accountant, Associate Accountant and student worker positions.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field and eight years management experience including six years of supervisory experience; OR twelve (12) years related management experience; OR equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education.
