Stanford's Department of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation (“DAPER”) supports the nearly 900 student-athletes who compete on the 36 intercollegiate athletic teams sponsored by the university. It also supports the campus physical education, recreation and wellness initiatives. Stanford University Department of Athletics seeks a qualified individual for the full-time position of Accounting Associate.
Under the supervision of the Sr. Financial Analyst in DAPER (Department of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation), the Accounting Associate will be primarily responsible for initiating and monitoring all financial transactions related to several sport programs. These include advances, reimbursements, requisitions, purchase orders, journals, p-card transactions, travel card transactions, etc. In addition, the Accounting Associate will perform other financial functions for these programs such as reconciling and reporting. Finally, the Accounting Associate will provide general support to the Accounting and Finance area as assigned.
