Adjunct OTA Instructor "Pool"
In order to build an active pool of qualified applicants, Piedmont Technical College is accepting applications for adjunct faculty (temporary, part-time) to teach at the Lex D. Walters Campus and/or our six county centers in Laurens, Newberry, Edgefield, Saluda, Abbeville, and McCormick during the day/evenings, on-line and dual credit instructors to teach in high schools. Applications will be reviewed on an as needed basis. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching varying schedules to a diverse student body in accordance with the established syllabi, at a variety of locations, utilizing technology, and using a variety of teaching methods in instruction.Minimum and Additional Requirements
Bachelor's degree with specialty in occupational therapy Kinesiology and hold license as an Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Proficient in the teaching of Kinesiology for the OTA/OT profession. Successful candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate education. Excellent customer service skills are required. Please submit a copy of your graduate transcripts (unofficial copies acceptable) with your application. Will also consider an Occupational Therapist (OTR) meeting the above minimum requirements.
Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience, especially at the community and technical college or secondary level.Additional Comments
