Adjunct Instructor-Medical Terminology "Pool"

Job Responsibilities

In order to build an active pool of qualified applicants, Piedmont Technical College is accepting applications for adjunct faculty (temporary, part-time) to teach at the Lex D. Walters Campus and/or our six county campuses in Laurens, Newberry, Edgefield, Saluda, Abbeville, and McCormick during the day/evenings, on-line and dual credit instructors to teach in high schools. Applications will be reviewed on an as needed basis. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching varying schedules to a diverse student body in accordance with the established syllabi at a variety of locations utilizing technology and using a variety of teaching methods of instruction.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

An Associate's degree or higher in a health-related field and knowledge of medical terminology as it relates to today's healthcare setting is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience at the community or technical college level.
